FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Why Hull Clean?
Bio-Fouling, is the accumulation of sea life on a vessel hull. Excess growth can be a literal drag, reducing speed on the water and clogging thru-hulls that can cause engine overheating. Hull cleaning removes bio-fouling so you can have a stress free and more affordable day on the water.

How often do you replace anodes?

The rate at which anodes burn depends on a variety of factors; size of the anode, salinity of the water, electrical current present in the slip, how many metals are bonded to the anode (propeller, shafts, thru-hulls, swim-step platform, trim tabs, ect). If you want to know how long your specific anodes should last, please give me a call.

How often do you clean boats?

During winter months (November- May) boats are kept on a 4 week cleaning schedule. During summer months (May- October) growth is more rapid due to  warmer water and more sunlight so boats are cleaned every 3 weeks. This equals out to 14 cleanings per year.

How do I pay?

After each cleaning, anode replacement, or inspection you will receive an invoice payable by credit card. Venmo, Zelle, and Paypal are also accepted.
